Big rain and thunder morning that cleared for a bit but basically rained all day. Today we r staying at the refuge bonatti. Tough and extremely steep first 2 hours that leveled off. We r supposed to have the best views of Mont Blanc but the weather did not cooperate....

Washed and dried some clothes. Everything was damp and tent was packed wet. All dry now Ate in courmayeur and had fantastic pasta and wine Well rested Tomorrow we set out again for another long hike… in rain all day. Have to, to make the schedule. But it’s a game day...
