But tomorrow we walk past Sahagun the middle of the Camino. there we can get a certificate for completing the half. Feels a little like a gold star in grade school. Can’t wait to get it tho.
People are starting to stop now. Some are going home or at least seriously considering it. Others in my own group are taking taxis to the next towns. It’s knees, ankles, Achilles and feet. So many are now taped up and or have blisters galore. My own feet are quite sore but I’m hoping they stay under control.
Not too many pictures. Again it’s the meseta. As my roommate today says “flat and featureless”. Like walking the trans canada through Saskatchewan tho I think that would be better. Lol. that said we are happy.
Now to perform surgery on my blisters.
You’ve got this brother. Be proud of that gold star, you earned it with every step.
Way to go Ralph! We are all cheering you on back at the Acton yard.
