We are in Les houches. No one who hasn’t walked the TMB has heard of it. But it’s the start and finish of the hike.

A very rainy day that turned hot and humid then stormy and cold.

Tomorrow’s hike depends on the weather. There may be thunderstorms and one doesn’t want you to be high in a mountain when that happens.

Also I was advised by several hikers to get micro spikes for my boots. Lots of snow, ice and mud in the trail.

We want to do a harder and higher variant but it will be a game day decision. Some things r just too dangerous.
